Problem description
Water was modeled by uneven hydrostatic pressure along the inner boundary of the tank
1.7 million finite elements (for a quarter of the tank)
Achievement
Stability and strength calculation in CAE Fidesys was made; safety factors are obtained for the selected strength theories.
The task was solved by CAE Fidesys with the OregMR technology and a multi-core processor having shared memory.
The calculated strength factors gave the basis for suggestions on model optimization.
