New version of CAE Fidesys 3.0 available

The distribution kit of the new version of CAE Fideys 3.0 is available for download. It adds a generator of unstructured hexahedral meshes. Added a new tool for finding mesh intersections. A spectral method for solving linear dynamic problems using a reaction spectrum is implemented. Added new types of boundary conditions: Rigid constraints, Heat source, Volumetric heat source, Fluid flow. Added the ability to edit material from the Wood. Geometry tools have been redesigned.

A new version of CAE Fidesys 2.2 is available

The distribution kit of the new version of CAE Fideys 2.2 is available for download. It includes the calculation of composite CAD models with gaps / overlaps between bodies for all types of analysis, including dynamic direct integration, increased the accuracy and speed of calculations of dynamic problems using the direct integration method. Fidesys will take part in the Forum “Engineers of the Future 2019”

As part of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the Forum “Engineers of the Future 2019”, Fidesis will present its CAE Fidesys software package for strength engineering analysis, which is successfully used in various industries in Russia and abroad. The VIII International Youth Forum “Engineers of the Future” will be held in the Orenburg region on the basis of the regional health center for children and youth “Yantar” from 2 to 13 July. You can register for the forum as a participant on the website Official organizers and co-organizers of the event: the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia, the Government of the Orenburg Region, State Corporation “Rostec”, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Association “League for Assistance to Defense Enterprises”. For eight years, about 14,000 young professionals, scientists, graduate students and students took part in the event. It was attended by young engineers from 400 industrial companies and 85 universities from 60 regions of the Russian Federation. The age of the forum participants is 20-35 years old.

A new version of CAE Fidesys 2.0 is available

The distribution kit of the new version of CAE Fideys 2.0 is available for download. It includes the calculation of multi-step loading, automatic recording of the results of dynamic calculations, drawing graphs for tabular dependencies. Added support for formula and tabular dependencies for material constants when importing and exporting materials. The ability to create models in the preprocessor is included, regardless of the type of license key. For example, you can create a model for non-linear analysis, having only the key for the CAE Fidesys Standard version and then perform the calculation on the workstation where the key for the CAE Fidesys Professional version is available.

Fidesys took part in the Forum “Engineers of the Future” 2018

From 10 to 19 July 2018, the Forum “Engineers of the Future” was held in the Ulyanovsk region. This year, the Forum brought together more than 1,500 young engineers, graduate students and students from more than 300 enterprises and universities who have come to the Ulyanovsk region from 70 regions of Russia and 43 countries of the Near and Far Abroad – from Kazakhstan to Germany, from Egypt to Bolivia, from Italy to South Korea. The educational program of the Forum was represented by nine specialized faculties – nine key areas of engineering industries in Russia, at which more than 200 speakers – representatives of 60 largest Russian corporations – PJSC United Aircraft Corporation, JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation, JSC United Engine Corporation , ROSCOSMOS State Corporation, Russian Helicopters JSC, Sukhoi Company PJSC, Kamaz PJSC, Avtovaz PJSC, Ramenskoye Instrument-Making Design Bureau JSC and a number of technical universities, as well as representatives of foreign countries. Fidesys, a permanent partner of the educational program of the Forum, once again conducted training on the use of modern CAE packages in design. 23 specialists have been trained with a certificate. They emphasized the importance and usefulness of owning and using CAE packages for both strength specialists and designers. The importance of using domestic software products of the middle and heavy class, such as CAE Fidesys, capable of solving complex problems, for example, calculating assemblies (including working with gaps), calculating without rebuilding grids and dynamics on a spectral element, was also noted.
